De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig celebrated in October their 20-year anniversary with three sold-out Ziggo Domes full of tightly directed madness. Faberyayo, Vjèze Fur and WiWa may now be over forty, on their latest (eighth!) album Moderne Manieren (2023) they sound — partly thanks to musical mastermind Bas Bron — just as innovative and completely unique as always. Hits like Watskeburt?!, Sterrenstof and Manon are now part of the canon of Dutch pop and the anniversary single 20 Zomers (2025) shows that the think tank is far from empty.
