The Brazilian singer Djavan (with Dutch roots) celebrates in 2026 his 50-year musical career with his twenty-sixth album Improviso (released end of 2025) and an extensive world tour. The sympathetic singer-songwriter is known for his elegant mix of samba, jazz and pop and debuted in 1976 with the album A Voz, o Violão e a Arte de Djavan, which also featured his first hit Flor De Lis. Djavan's music soon crossed borders: his work has been recorded by colleagues such as Al Jarreau, Randy Brecker and The Manhattan Transfer. An iconic South American artist!
