On November 6, they are coming to set our hall on fire as they have done at more than a thousand other places. Lowlands, Parkpop, Zwarte Cross... no stage has proven resistant to these experienced stage beasts and their arsenal of bangers.

'Mestizo rock?' we hear you think. Sí claro! A festive mixture of Latin, salsa, reggae, ska, rock, punk, electronic music, and hip hop, popularized in the mid-nineties by acts like Manu Chao, Che Sudako, and of course Eskorzo itself. In addition to a wealth of musical influences, Eskorzo also throws in a hefty dose of political engagement. The seven-member band makes you think critically about pressing issues like war, racism, and poverty—while you shake your hips furiously.
