The album was written, arranged, produced, and recorded by Sebastian Kinsler, Lydia Slocum, and Jake Kelley from their respective homes in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 'bitknot' is a vibrant exploration of the artificial space that arises between human nature and a culture of convenience: a synthesis of the analog and the digital, creating a language through which one can restore the sanctity of interdependence, away from consumptive “self-sufficiency” and materialism.
