FIVE THE HIEROPHANT (UK – Black Doom Jazz)

Five the Hierophant is certainly no longer unknown in the Low Countries after sensational performances at festivals such as Soulcrusher and Roadburn and our own Black Earth. The band's DNA is characterized by an unbelievably tight mix of jazz, metal and doom in which a constantly shredding saxophone plays the leading role. Brilliant band with a crushing live performance as these Brits have proven several times. Avant Black Doom Jazz may not be a genre in itself but Five The Hierophant plays it anyway!
