For over twenty-five years, Floor Jansen has been one of the most successful singers in the Netherlands. Her career began in 1995 with the symphonic metal band After Forever, with which she achieved international success. After the band's breakup, she joined the Finnish band Nightwish and became a global name in metal. In the Netherlands, her voice truly reached the public in 2019, when she participated in Beste Zangers (Best Singers ). Her performance of The Phantom of the Opera with Henk Poort made a deep impression and marked the beginning of her solo career. Many successes and her own releases followed, includingwinning the Popprijs in 2019 and the release of her own album Paragon in 2023. Not only her music, but also her powerful life story appeals to her audience: she overcame breast cancer and is happy to share her experiences of motherhood and her life as an artist with her fans.
