Florence Road, named after the street where their school was located, is a four-piece band from the Irish town of Wicklow, full of indie rock, grunge, and alt-pop. Their songs hover between explosive and sensitive, exploring the multifaceted nature of youth: from angst and humor to intensity and heartbreak. The band is led by singer Lily Aron and also features her best friends Emma Brandon (guitar), Ailbhe Barry (bass), and Hannah Kelly (drums). They have previously supported bands including Olivia Rodrigo, Royel Otis, and Sombr. Their latest single, "Storm Warnings," was released on November 15th, a record that captures the feeling of an inner tornado in sound.
