After more than ten years of riffs, breakdowns, shreds, and passion, the Dutch metalcore band For I Am King has decided to stop. They are not doing this quietly, but with a spectacular farewell show at Patronaat on November 22!

"What began as a wild idea among friends, an idea that got completely out of hand, has grown into something we could never have imagined. Over the years, we have played hundreds of shows, traveled the world, released music we are endlessly proud of, and, most importantly, we have met so many wonderful people and built friendships for life.

As we look back, we are reminded of one thing that has always remained true: metal is cheaper than therapy, and in so many ways, this band has been exactly that for us.

It was not an easy decision, but it feels like the right time to let go — with love, on our own terms, and with nothing but gratitude in our hearts.

From the bottom of our hearts: thank you for listening, for singing along, for believing, and for being a part of this journey.
