Psychedelic garage duo tickles the darkest corners of your soul. Five albums in two and a half years!? What in the King Gizzard? GHOSTWOMAN mastermind Evan Uschenko is one of the most productive musicians of his time. And not only that: his music is damn good too. Crackling lo-fi garage rock, dripping with reverb - best consumed in a sweaty basement, or in a black box on Rotsoord of course. GHOSTWOMAN's writing frenzy began in 2022, with debut album Ghost Woman, which was hailed as one of the coolest psych records of the year. All music critics agreed: this leaves you wanting more. Uschenko apparently agreed because since then he has been bombarding the world with records. Sometimes with influences from blues, sometimes more punk or krautrock, but always equally oppressive. But according to Uschenko, GHOSTWOMAN really found its sound when his Flemish counterpart Ille van Dessel (Poolface) joined him as a drummer. Since then, the band has been unstoppable. As a duo, GHOSTWOMAN has grown into a two-headed live monster that drags every pop venue into deep darkness. On February 5th, they will do that in De Helling with - how could it be otherwise - a brand new album in their pocket!
