HALLOWS + Orus Boris + Grauzone DJ team.
HALLOWS is a Los Angeles-based dark electropop duo consisting of Vanee Dusoruth and Dom Rolando, both from Mauritius. Their music emerged from the underground punk scene and brings together 80s synths and modern electronics in a sound that is simultaneously danceable and melancholic. With influences from new wave, dark electronics, and a strong focus on emotion, HALLOWS moves between the dance floor and heartbreak. Live, this translates into energetic, physically intense shows that linger long after. For fans of Desire, Pixel Grip, and Nuovo Testamento.
Since their debut EP Subtle (2020), HALLOWS has steadily built a place within the modern dark electronic scene. Albums such as All That Is True (2021) and A Quieter Life (2023) yielded fan favorites including “All That Is True Dies”, “Talk To Me”, and “Things That Hurt”, and took the duo to festivals such as Absolution Fest, Freakout Fest, Substance Fest, and Verboden Fest. In 2025, HALLOWS signed with Artoffact Records, followed by their first European tour. Their third album Dream (2026) is a cinematic and passionate album about toxic love, loss, and the yearning for human connection, in which analog production, pulsating bass lines, shimmering synths, and urgent yet tender vocals come together.
Orus Boris is a coldwave crooner project led by Rotterdam-based Paul Mogwitz. Wobbly synthesizer lines mingle with New Romantic-influenced vocals, shrouded in lo-fi melancholy. A soundtrack for slow dances in Italian horror films from the 80s, long drives through snowy cityscapes, and shifts in dimly lit factories.
Grauzone presents a diverse and progressive program in which music, film, and art complement each other. The program provides space for both young talent and established names rooted in or influenced by the underground music scene, ranging from new wave and electronica to psychedelic and experimental music. The Grauzone DJ Team consists of Natasja Alers and Marc Emmerik, the founders and organizers of the Dutch Grauzone Festival. They spin a dark, energetic mix of post-punk, new wave, EBM, and Italo disco.
