Hamilton Leithauser is an American singer-songwriter and former frontman of The Walkmen. Since the early 2000s, he has been a fixture in the indie rock scene, known for his powerful voice, sharp lyrics, and emotional depth. His latest solo album 'This Side of the Island', recorded in his studio in Brooklyn and completed with producer Aaron Dessner, marks a new beginning: the record has more groove and feels more modern than his previous work. Leithauser incorporates personal loss, love, and resilience into his music, influenced by artists such as Sly Stone, Prince, and Neil Young. A timeless sound with sharp edges.


Tolhuistuin formerly Paradiso Noord is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used Buiksloterweg 5C, which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.
