With their upcoming album 'Raspberry Moon', Hotline TNT is taking a new direction without leaving the old behind. The New York shoegaze band around Will Anderson, originally started as a solo project and has now grown into a full band, makes room for more than just melancholy and feedback on their third album. What remains is the shoegaze with a pop instinct that they broke through with last year on 'Cartwheel'. What comes in addition is some air: moments of humor, romance, and clarity. 'Raspberry Moon' sounds like a warm reflection, both nostalgic and mature. The first single 'Julia’s War' sets the tone with less lofi and more interplay.
