With the release of her debut album Feel At Home on September 18, ISHA marks a significant creative moment. The twelve-track album is the first time the Dutch producer, singer-songwriter, and bassist has independently written, produced, and shaped the entire project from start to finish. With her vocals woven throughout the majority of the tracklist, the album reveals a more vulnerable, unfiltered side of the Dutch artist and invites listeners deeper into her world than ever before.
At just 25 years old, ISHA is breaking boundaries as a Dutch queer producer, bassist, and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed at Montreux Jazz Residency and Istanbul Jazz, among others, released music through international labels, and shared international stages with her two-piece formation—together with drummer Maxie Cheer (Kate Nash)—alongside Marcus Miller, Adi Oasis, Franc Moody, YĪN YĪN, and Young Franco. She has worked in the studio with artists such as Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, and Blue Lab Beats, and performed at festivals and venues ranging from London Jazz Festival and Brick Lane Jazz to Eurosonic and The Great Escape. Her entirely self-written and produced debut album, Feel At Home, is being released via Sidekick Music and is supported by BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 6, FIP Radio, KEXP, WYEP, 3voor12, Stereofox, RTBF Jam, NEUN Mag, and Iggy Magazine, among others.
