Westbound Sessions is a new concert series and meeting place in MidWest that celebrates the creative exchange between Amsterdam and London. Each concert features one London act and two Amsterdam acts. The first edition in September, featuring Melle, Julia Adriana, and Isaac Stuart (UK), got off to a promising start, and three more talented artists have been roped in for the second edition.
The focus is on emerging singer-songwriters – young makers who are establishing themselves in the (Dutch) music industry, and are bursting with talent and the drive to grow.
In the accessible and artistic setting of MidWest, Westbound Sessions offers ample space to listen, discover, and connect. Songwriters, musicians, and music lovers gather to find inspiration and make new connections.
On Wednesday evening, November 19th, British singer-songwriter Grace Moore and Dutch singer-songwriters Sterre Weldring and Oliver Pesch will share the stage. The evening will be hosted by Sven Ross.
Westbound Sessions is organized with the help of the Young Dreamers Collective.
