John Maus
Ticket € 30,30
Saturday 22 November
In Paradiso - Main Hall
Doors: 18:30, Main programme: 20:00
The mysterious synth-pop musician John Maus shapes his minimalist songs into a meaningful and humorous experience. His music is often described as retro-futuristic, whatever that may mean. With a doctorate in political philosophy, Maus creates an eccentric mix of punk rock and experimental pop. His albums, including the critically acclaimed 'We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves' 2011, speak for themselves. With a 6-LP box set and new projects in the making, this eccentric figure continues to be an intriguing presence in the music world.
