Wap Shoo Wap Records, Gips Records, and Slachthuis have put their mischievous little hands together and have unfortunately come to the conclusion that we have to throw another epic New Year's Eve party. This time, not at Slachthuis itself, but at De Kelder (the old V&D building in the center of Haarlem). What an opportunity! This will be New Year's Eve Mayhem like you've never seen before! The best party of 2025 and 2026! No fewer than five bands, DJs, a Chris Kiekt photo booth, amazing memories, and an UNLIMITED PARTY ALL NITE WHILE STOCKS LAST!
Panther:
Panter consists of four idiosyncratic yet legendary Amsterdam underground musicians. They found common ground in their undying love of hard-hitting rock 'n' roll, sentimental bar talk, and delicious food. The result: Wild yet sultry Dutch beat with a smile and a gin tear.
Featuring (ex-)members of The Anomalys, Malle Pietje and the Bimbo's, The Sex Organs and Nitwitz.
Inside Job:
Inside Job plays hardcore punk with a d-beat twist, but very seriously. Don't laugh. "Outside of Job, a book is man's best friend. Inside Job, it's too dark to read." Their first EP will be released soon on Autoreverse Records (NL).
Featuring members of Traumatizer and Ultra Goblin.
Monuments of Fear:
Children of the Angstmäler slaughterhouse couldn't be left out of this list of outcasts. They make hardcore/d-beat à la Jesus and the Gospelfuckers, or rather, as it was once intended. Their first EP was recently released on cassette tape by Brainrotter Records (UK) and will soon be released on vinyl by Under The Gun Records (USA).
Featuring members of Traumatizer, Asbest Boys and Inside Job.
Valeria and the Neighborhood Gang:
Valeria y la Banda del Barrio is an Amsterdam/Haarlem band formed after one of the members found a box of albums with white labels/covers at a flea market. The covers only featured dates between 1959 and 1966 and various addresses within Venezuela. The woman at the stall explained that the records came from her father's attic; a priest from Lara, Venezuela, who had moved to The Hague in 1974.
The music on these records was danceable, but distinguished itself from other music from the same period/region by an ominous edge. Intrigued by the records, which, after weeks of research, had yielded nothing, they decided to revive the music themselves. This was accomplished by members of Dorpsstraat 3, among others, featuring the mysterious Valeria on vocals. Last August, the band made their debut at Slachthuis, which was a resounding success.
Thee Rotten Organs:
Haarlem's newest addition: real ass garage! With organ, guitar, bass, and drums, these teenagers will blow you away and immerse you in a torrent of noise. An organ that sounds like it's been put through a meat grinder, a guitar that sounds like the local spring reverb factory is collapsing, bass that thumps stoically, and drums that fly in every direction.
Featuring members of Ultra Goblin and The Protos.
DJ’s: Disko Mads & Wap Shoo Wap DJ team
Chris Kiekt Photobooth
One more time for the casual viewer: this event takes place in THE BASEMENT, not the Slaughterhouse itself. See you there!
