When fate brings Belfast teacher JJ into the orbit of self-confessed “low life scum” Naoise and Liam Óg, the needle drops on a hip hop act like no other. Rapping in their native Irish, they lead a movement to save their mother tongue.

Films that Make Noise is part of the activist program line PUSH. PUSH is the new umbrella under which PAARD brings together its socially conscious, critical, progressive, and politically engaged programming. As the pop music venue in the city of power, politics, peace, (war) law, and protest—just a few hundred meters from the Binnenhof—PUSH provides the soundtrack to social change.
