With their seventh studio album under their belt, the two self-proclaimed do-gooders of Liedfett are conquering stages across Germany, accompanied by their ever-growing, rugged crew. What was once an insider tip has now blossomed into a collective state of euphoria, attitude, and joie de vivre. The new, untitled album, Liedfett, will be released in April, on which the band sounds more intimate, direct, and unpolished than ever before. Between new beginnings and overwhelming emotions, between broad smiles and honest self-reflection, they present songs like "Alles wird gut," "Zu kurz," "Einsamkeitsgefahr," "Das war ich," and "Partybrille," along with six new tracks, to create an album that touches and connects.
Liedfett is about stumbling through life, about persevering despite doubt, about being loud when necessary and daring to be vulnerable when needed. It's music that takes a stand without pointing fingers, that works both on stage and around a campfire, wherever people gather. Musically, the band stays true to their signature blend of German pop, punk energy, and an uncompromising live performance. The album isn't a retrospective or a concept album, but a snapshot: honest, warm, and powerful. Trying to understand Liedfett through numbers or words alone misses the point. Only live does the full picture unfold, and only then does it become clear why so many are drawn in when the question is asked: will you join us?
