Mamas Gun is a five-piece soul band from the United Kingdom. They are led by singer, composer, and producer Andy Platts, also known for his other project, Young Gun Silver Fox; keyboardist Dave "eighties" Oliver; guitarist Terry "Spiller" Lewis; bassist Cameron "the Mounty" Dawson; and drummer Chris Boot.

Their debut album, "Routes to Riches," released in 2009, brought them a successful breakthrough in Asia, where they became the most played international artist on Japanese radio in 2009. After releasing two more albums, "The Life & Soul" in 2011 and "Cheap Hotel" in 2013, a new era began for the band, recording and producing their own music. Their fourth album, "Golden Days," released in 2018, saw the band move in an authentic, classic soul/R&B direction influenced by the 60s and 70s. This was followed by the album "Cure The Jones" in 2022. Now they're back with a new single, "Food For The Flames," recorded on analog tape, showcasing their beloved authentic, soulful sound.
