Canadian producer Marie Davidson has been a prominent figure at the intersection of electro and pop for years, both solo and as one half of the duo Essaie Pas. Her sound is a raw mix of gritty drum machines, analog synths, and powerful vocals in both English and French. With her punky, raw, and catchy electro and spoken word, she transforms the stage into her confessional and explores the darker sides of hedonistic clubbing. After the impressive albums 'Working Class Woman' and 'Renegade Breakdown,' the Grammy-nominated artist now brings her latest release 'City of Clowns,' released on Soulwax's DEEWEE label, to the stage.
