Violinist Martine Velthuis, winner of the Oskar Back Prize at the 2026 Dutch Violin Competition, presents her performance Mijn bedrading (My Wiring). It is a personal performance about living with ADHD, depression, and panic attacks. With music by Bach and Eugène Ysaÿe, dancer Isabel Kooring, and costume designer Lonneke Statius, Veldhuis reveals what is happening in her inner world in Mijn bedrading.
Martine Velthuis studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory. She is a violinist with the Brioso Trio and has played in various Dutch and international youth orchestras. In January, Velthuis won the prize for the best performance of the modern work Dialogos by Hawar Tawfiq at the Oskar Back Violin Competition.
