MaYaN — Symphonic death metal band celebrates its 15th anniversary.

The symphonic death metal band MaYaN celebrates its fifteenth anniversary! MaYaN is the band of Mark Jansen, the man with the ordinary name and the unusually great talents: the guitarist/vocalist is the founder of two of the Netherlands' largest symphonic metal bands, After Forever and Epica. And thus also of MaYaN, a nine-member formation that we may safely call a supergroup – among its members are drummer Ariën van Weesenbeek (Epica), guitarist Merel Bechtold (ex-Delain), bassist Roel Käller (ex-Pestilence) and singer Marcela Bovio (Ayreon, Stream of Passion).
