HARDCORE PUNK NIGHT FULL OF FIRE RIFFS, RAGING DRUMS AND GENUINE CHAOS
EKKO is packed with hardcore punk! The genre has seen a resurgence, and plenty of Dutch acts capture this raw, energetic sound like no other. Nervous Breakdown promises an evening full of fierce riffs, raging drums, and genuine chaos. So strap on your studded belt and hit the pit—this is the moment.
Frontsector
blends old-school punk and garage rock with a sharp hardcore edge. The previous band, consisting of drummer Siebren Tammenga, bassist Haico, and guitarist Dylan Hayes, had disbanded, but the musical spark remained. In their search for a new frontman, Sil Zijlstra quickly came into the picture. After just one rehearsal, it was clear: this was the right lineup, and the band was born.
LS.GATEKEEPER
burst onto the Dutch scene in 2024 as the live band extension of Lui Surreal. Their self-proclaimed style, psychedelic hardcore, combines post-punk, hardcore, and alternative rap into an intense, energetic mix. With versatile Brit-punk vocals and an uninhibited stage presence, the band is driven by thunderous D-beat drums, heavy riffs, and heavily distorted basslines.
MUG
The Rotterdam hardcore punk band MUG sounds raw, direct, and energetic, with influences from hardcore and eggpunk. Their songs are short, sharp, and to the point, full of bulldozer rhythms, thundering vocals, and a no-holds-barred attitude. Live, the five-piece is just as intense, fierce, unpredictable, and completely in-your-face.
Teardrinker
consists of members from various local acts and is led by Kim Hoorweg, the determined frontperson of VULVA. Their music exudes resistance: at times furious and desperate, but also hopeful and full of fighting spirit. Musically, Teardrinker lies at the intersection of post-hardcore, sludge, and screamo.
