Night Moves comes from Minneapolis and makes indie songs with influences from country, soul, and psychedelics. For previous albums, the band worked with producer John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Kurt Vile, Madrugada). After six years, Night Moves returned in 2024 with their fourth album 'Double Life'. In the songs, you can hear how the rough edges of everyday life resonate in the music. For example, a stolen license plate from their worn-out tour bus became the basis for the song 'Daytona', in which frontman John Pelant paints a picture of someone starting anew. In that combination of melancholy and light, Night Moves shows how their songs keep moving between past and future.
