Nikki Szofia is an indie folk poet who makes music to kick against the patriarchy, lovingly yet firmly. She studied Anthropology and incorporates this into her lyrics and music by always searching for where the personal and the political intersect. Nikki operates from her birthplace, Amsterdam, and her second home, Amstelveen, where she also served as city poet in 2024 and 2025.

‍Nikki is currently working on her debut album HEEL, which deals with healing after sexual violence as a woman in a patriarchal world. This album will be released on September 4.
