On her second album P2, Pitou is running free, both emotionally and creatively. It’s a carousel ride brimming with life: mania, euphoria, independence and melancholy all make their way to the dancefloor. On this collection of songs, the Dutch singer-songwriter, composer and producer fully embraces impulsiveness and experimentation.
For this concert, specially arranged for Gaudeamus, Pitou presents her music in an entirely new setup, with arrangements developed with regular collaborator M Alberto (who has also previously appeared at Gaudeamus). A star-studded cast of three wind players, three singers, percussion, and keyboards transforms her work into an enchanting, detailed, playful and free whole.
