Nine Pound Hammer.
Nine Pound Hammer sounds like someone threw a six-pack of beer, an old guitar and a lot of frustration into a blender. The cowpunk band from Kentucky has been making straightforward rock ’n roll since the eighties. Driven by boredom and concern the band during the dark winter of 2020 set to work to record their new album “When The Sh*t Goes Down”, which was released on 1 October 2021 on Acetate Records. For their eighth studio album the original members Scott Luallen and Blaine Cartwright (Nashville Pussy) contacted Ramones-producer Daniel Rey, who braved the elements of Kentucky to throw a jerrycan of petrol onto the bonfire and help the band create 13 new Cowpunk Spirituals™ guaranteed to be a remedy for anything that troubles you.
