Rapper and producer Niontay brings an elusive style to the underground rap scene, formed by his ability to blend styles from different regions. Born in Milwaukee and raised in Florida, he mixes the sharp humor of Milwaukee with Florida's agile flows and the laid-back confidence of New York's underground. His breakthrough project 'Dontay’s Inferno' from 2023 received praise from Pitchfork, Stereogum, and The Washington Post, and tracks like ‘Thank Allah’ and ‘Da City of a Hunnid Plays’ quickly became audience favorites. With his role in the cypher ‘Real hiphop’ with MIKE, Earl Sweatshirt, and El Cousteau and touring with MIKE's 10k collective, he established his position in the scene. On his new album 'Fada<3of$', Niontay sounds more confident than ever, effortlessly switching between styles and flows again. He did most of the production himself, with contributions from Tony Seltzer, Jadasea, and Harrison. Guest contributions came from MAVI, Sideshow, and El Cousteau.
