Of all the bands that achieved stunning results after their first album, Panchiko stands out. Panchiko are an indie band formed in England between 1997 and 1998. Their first album, a demo titled 'D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L,' was originally released in limited numbers but unexpectedly went viral twenty years later. A 4chan user discovered their demo CD in a Nottingham second-hand shop. After the audio was shared online, an extensive search for the origins of this mysterious work ensued. Eventually, it was revealed to be local band Panchiko. Since their rise to fame, Panchiko have released further albums including 'Ferric Oxide', 'R>E>M>I>X>E>D' and 'Failed At Maths' in 2023.
