Throughout the entire theater season, the show has been taking visitors on a journey through time and across the world in both a tasty and informative way, as previously done at the Leidse Schouwburg and Theater Rotterdam. Now, the grand finale of their tour comes to Paradiso for a special edition of Peper & Zuur?!.
In addition to being a festive conclusion, it is also a celebration of Srefidensi, Surinamese Independence Day (November 25). Specially for this evening, Surinamese icons will perform, such as Duvel Duvel, Prof. Soortkill, brass band Muziek op Afstand, and DJ Shug La Sheeda. We will delve into colonial history, migration flows, and family secrets, and naturally, there will be a shared meal at the end. Tip: Arrive on time, because for Peper & Zuur?! Srefidensi, the basement transforms into a pop-up food court where you can eat all evening.
