Driven by the urge to experiment, he moves effortlessly between rap, soul, punk and jazz, making him difficult to place in a box. In 2022 he released 'GUMBO’!', an album on which he brought together diverse influences, from spoken word by Dungeon Family’s Big Rube to raw ghettotech from the Detroit trio HiTech. Since the release of this album Siifu grew into a central figure within the creative community around him. The years that followed were characterized by a notably productive period, with collaborations such as 'Real Bad Flight' with Real Bad Man, 'Leather Blvd.' with Ahwlee as B. Cool-Aid and 'It’s Too Quiet..’!!' with Turich Benjy. Earlier this year his fourth solo album 'BLACK’!ANTIQUE' was released, which CLASH Magazine described as an intriguing and versatile hip hop album that reveals new layers and details with every listen.
