Post-punk, New-wave

Australia's Radio Free Alice feels like a worn-out denim jacket suddenly back in style. Their sparkling blend of post-punk and new wave is simultaneously urgent and understated, controlled yet chaotic. With razor-sharp guitars and backing vocals reminiscent of the eighties, they move effortlessly between explosive energy and tender melancholy.

With just three EPs to their name, the band has already made a lasting impression: rave reviews, countless performances, and a rapidly growing fan base. Their recent third EP, Empty Words , cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting new acts around. They proved their mettle live at festivals like SXSW, Reading & Leeds, and London Calling, and toured with The Killers on their Australian shows.

Sex Mask may be based in Melbourne, but their members hail from all corners of the globe. Their gritty, rebellious, and almost vicious blend of post-punk and alternative rock is both sharp and elusive. With playful ease, they switch between almost rap-like lyrics and clear, layered, and dynamic vocals, combined with grimy basslines, clubby drums, and introspective, absurdist lyrics. With tracks like " TV Movie , " "How To Be Cool At Parties," and "Birds, " they've firmly established themselves in the underground scene, sharing the stage with acts like Fcukers, Big Special, and Fat White Family. A must-see for fans of Sleaford Mods, Crack Cloud, and Maruja.
