The Dutch-Moroccan singer Roufaida first made her mark in 2023 with a self-titled EP, featuring tracks like Don't Bend and Kalimat that gained international attention. Influenced by Rosalía, Björk, and Arooj Aftab, as well as Arabic poetry, Roufaida creates a unique blend of indie pop and electronica, prominently featuring the gimbri, a fretless Moroccan string instrument. She has performed at Down The Rabbit Hole and ITGWO, and her recently released debut album Coming Up For Air is set to take her even further. After a series of electronic club shows, she is now moving closer to the core with an exclusive acoustic set!
