A new chapter for Sam Bettens. After years of being the face of the successful Flemish band K's Choice, he is taking a different path with his new album 'Coming Home'. The Americana path, to be precise. On Saturday, November 3, Sam will be at Doopsgezind Haarlem to show what that sounds like.
'Coming Home' is a personal and heartfelt album that feels like coming home and is a confluence of life experiences, cast in raw, honest songwriting. The songs are delivered with a voice that carries the weight of the stories. Stories that tell of Sam's extraordinary life path: from his roots in Kapellen, Belgium, to fifteen years in East Tennessee, where he even worked as a firefighter. 'Coming Home' shows a different side than what you are used to from K'Choice (with whom Sam still performs on stage): more intimate and acoustic, making it perfect for a church in Haarlem.
