She Past Away is a Turkish synthwave duo that makes post-punk and darkwave music that takes you back to the heyday of bands like The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, and Joy Division. Even if you don't speak Turkish, you can immediately sense what their lyrics are about: existential fears, philosophical issues, and nihilism. Their most recent studio album, Disko Anksiyete, was released in 2019, but fortunately, there are signs of life: at the end of 2024, they released the new singles İnziva and Ölüm Günüm, the latter being a highly acclaimed collaboration with their fellow countrymen Ductape!
