Shkoon tells stories that connect cultures, emotions, and time. Since meeting in 2015, Ameen from Syria and Thorben from Germany have been bringing Arabic electronica to life. Their music interweaves Eastern melodies with deep house, dub, downbeat, and hip-hop influences, creating a rich sonic tapestry of piano, synths, percussion, and vocals. Shkoon believes in the power of music to connect and open new perspectives. Their performances are spontaneous, sincere, and inviting—an experience to laugh, cry, and come together.

Following their debut album "Rima" (2019) and the live album "FIRAQ" (2022), followed by the concept album "Masrahiya" (2023), Shkoon this year presented the EP "1 > Greater Than One," a musical journey that, as is now typical for Shkoon, blends tradition and modernity. Next year, they will perform at Bitterzoet to bring this project to life live.
