Super-Sonic Jam is a concept that originated in the basement of Paradiso during the annual Super-Sonic Jazz Festival. During these informal jam sessions, musicians and audience members gathered to play together late into the night; everything revolved around spontaneity, creativity, and improvisation. Regulars are familiar with this: a tight backing band stands on the floor in the center of the room, surrounded by attendees. During an improvised set, dozens of guest musicians and vocalists are invited to join in. Visitors and amateur musicians are also welcome to join in. During these evenings, Super-Sonic Jazz invites various artists and collectives to host the jam. Previously, the stage was occupied by Steam Down, Higherlife Jam, and Jembaa Groove, among others. This Super-Sonic Jam will be hosted by Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers. One thing is certain: this edition will once again be buzzing with energy, with guest musicians and vocalists who spontaneously elevate the set to a higher level.
