Jacht captures the raw confusion of being young in a world that feels increasingly skewed. The foursome forges Dutch-language indie pop, protest folk, and alternative rock into a unique, melancholic sound. Think the intensity of Fontaines DC, the polyphony of LOW, and the poetry of Roosbeef. Their lyrics oscillate between personal insights and sharp political statements; sometimes dreamy and melancholic, sometimes biting and direct. The harmonies of Hannah Veldhoen and Wiebe Heetvelt form the heart of Jacht.
