The Belgian band The Bluesbones is among the top European blues bands – their album Live On Stage (2020) even made waves in the United States. These guys aren't purists, though: they like to enrich their blues with steaming soul, funk, and rock.
Singer/keyboardist Eddy Smith is a big name in the Americana scene of his native England. Along with his well-oiled band The 507, he delivers a delightfully nostalgic blend of blues, soul, country, and rock, somewhat reminiscent of Nathaniel Rateliff. If you saw him at Ramblin' Roots last year, you'll want to see him again!
