From Galway the quartet The Clockworks conquered London with their sharp alternative rock, which earned them support tours with heroes like Pixies and Johnny Marr. Where the debut album ‘Exit Strategy’ put the band on the map as an energetic live act, their new work marks an ambitious and more polished next step.
On their second album ‘The Entertainment’ that is released on 27 March, the band trades their raw sound for a cinematic soundscape with synths and strings. This self-described work of friction explores the clash between human connection and technology. The Clockworks brings that intense dynamic of their new music to Utrecht this autumn.
