The American alternative rock band The Dream Syndicate plays their second album Medicine Show (1984) in its entirety! The Dream Syndicate was/is a major name in the so-called Paisley Underground, the combination of sixties psychedelia with post-punk. Medicine Show is the successor to their debut The Days Of Wine And Roses (1982) and the favorite of frontman Steve Wynn – Peter Buck (R.E.M.) even calls the album 'an Exile On Main St. of the eighties, the blood drips from every note.'
