Since the departure of frontman Thé Lau in 2014 and his death in 2015, the book seemed closed for the legendary Dutch-language rock band The Scene, creators of Dutch pop classics like Open, Blauw, Rigoureus, and Iedereen Is Van De Wereld. But after more than a decade of silence, the band will return to the stage in 2026 – with the original members and a new, powerful voice at the forefront: Syb van der Ploeg (De Kast).
