Amsterdam alt-rock band There's No Recipe celebrates the release of their new EP at Paradiso. With layered guitar parts, compelling melodies, and a sound that balances indie and grunge, the band creates music that effortlessly switches between hushed intimacy and explosive outbursts. Influences from Radiohead and Nothing But Thieves shine through subtly, while frontman Ziko Schilte establishes a sound of his own with his dark, distinctive voice.
The four-member band is now presenting the full EP live for the first time. The singles Pretty Place, Walk Away, and Superstorm have already been released in recent weeks. For the latter, the band released a music video, filmed in the iconic Bijlmerbajes in Amsterdam, in which the cinematic character of the music visually comes to life.
