Tune-Yards is an eclectic music project from California led by Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner. The duo uses loop pedals, ukuleles, and lo-fi percussion in their music. According to Tune-Yards, distraction, depression, and heartbreak are at their peak in 2025. "Creating art in this time is a struggle for focus; we live in an era of interruption," says Merrill Garbus of Tune-Yards about the sixth album 'Better Dreaming'. The new album proudly waves an antifascist, liberating freak flag and features some of Tune-Yards' smoothest and most direct pop songs to date, and yes, you can dance to it.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin formerly Paradiso Noord is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used Buiksloterweg 5C, which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.
