TUPPERWR3 is an indie wave three-piece from Zaandam. The lyrics are darkly poetic, in Dutch, and surprisingly often focus on Zaandam as the epicenter of insurmountable hardship. No matter how hard TUPPERWR3 tries to create a somber atmosphere, it usually ends up being a cheerful affair. So be it. TUPPERWR3 is Jeff (bass), Mavah (drums), and Bas (guitar).

Finally! A tribute band at Indieplayground. But a fun one! IN THE HOTHOUSE plays music by the legendary post-punk band "The Sound." The film Walking in the Opposite Direction (JP van Mierlo, 2016) tells the story of the troubled life of The Sound frontman Adrian Borland. To provide musical accompaniment during the screening of the film at the Zaandam film theater De Fabriek, the band IN THE HOTHOUSE was formed. During performances, almost all the songs from the legendary album From the Lions Mouth (1981) are played. That album formed the blueprint for the post-punk genre.
