In June 2026, Wende will play a series of shows in small music venues throughout the Netherlands: 'The Experiment'. This series marks the beginning of a new trajectory, the run-up to a next pop album.

After 'Sterrenlopen' and 'Vrijplaats', Wende finds herself once again at the start of a new phase. She is writing new work, working with a new band, and searching for the form that goes with it. For Wende, an album and a live show do not emerge one after the other, but simultaneously. Playing is not an endpoint, but a necessary part of the creative process.

This time, Wende chooses to make that process visible. The June series is a place to explore, experiment, and feel what music needs to grow. Without predetermined frameworks, without the pressure of a finished whole. Expect existing repertoire in a different form, new material that is still evolving, and a band searching together. Not a definitive show, but a beginning. Up close.
