British singer-songwriter Westerman creates dreamy and layered art pop, ambient, and experimental folk. He will release his third album, A Jackal's Wedding , in the fall of 2025. The album is inspired by the nature of the Greek island of Hydra, where he lived for seven years. Westerman recorded the album with producer Marta Salogni in an old mansion on the island. In the heat, with open windows and the hum of insects in the background, a hypnotic sound emerged, filled with warm synths, soft percussion, and ethereal melodies.
