About three years ago, Bertolf traveled to Nashville to fulfill a long-cherished dream: to record a bluegrass album with his great heroes (including Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, and Mark Schatz). The result, 'Bluefinger', became an album that easily ranks among the top echelons of Dutch bluegrass. Now Bertolf is back with the sequel: 'Bluefinger 2', this time recorded with virtuoso musicians from the Netherlands.

Bertolf Lentink (1980) had just finished studying guitar at the conservatory when Ilse DeLange asked him to join her band. In 2008, his solo career exploded with the single ' Another Day', which even reached the top 40. In 2010, Bertolf won a Silver Harp, and to date, he has released 7 solo albums praised by both the press and the public .

In addition to his solo work, Bertolf played for many years in Her Majesty, with which he examined the music of Crosby , Stills , Nash & Young. He was also part of the supergroup Musketiers, along with Paskal Jakobsen , Daniel Lohues , and Paul de Munnik.
