Daryll-Ann's refined guitar lines will sound again at Paradiso in September . The nineties band is considered one of the most important founders of Dutch indie rock . The group, which originated in Ermelo, built a unique sound around the inventive arrangements and characteristic vocal harmonies of Jelle and Coen Paulusma. Following the release of their acclaimed album 'Spring' in 2024, the band returned to the stage to show that their mix of Britpop energy and American West Coast influences is still very much alive .
During this evening, Daryll-Ann will perform the album Weeps in its entirety. It is one of the crown jewels of Excelsior Recordings and a classic of Dutch indie. The album was recorded in 1996 at Rijksweg 1 near Weesp and is now a true cult classic. All the more reason to perform it in its entirety for the first time, thirty years later, with the original lineup.
