The Irish singer-songwriter Dave Lofts learned his craft by performing in all the pubs in his hometown of Waterford. In such a noisy environment, it was fortunate that Lofts is blessed with a powerful voice, which allows him to not only sing loudly but also move people. On his debut EP Live From Phil Grimes (2024), he opens with a cover of Running Up That Hill, and Lofts also has a version of Sam Fender's Seventeen Going Under in his repertoire. Fortunately, his own work is at least as good: Lofts' latest singles Just A Man, Drunk, and Mary show that he is making great musical strides!
